Ali KIRALİ

Chief Executive Officer

Ali KIRALİ was born in Ankara in 1976. After graduating from Department of Economics in Middle East Technical University in 1999, KIRALİ completed his post-graduate study in the European Studies from Middle East Technical University and holds an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management. He started his professional career in Corporations Finance Department in Capital Markets Board in executing IPOs and M&A deals and supervised capital market publicly held companies. From 2009 to 2011, he worked for Citibank’s Export and Agency Finance team in Seoul, South Korea and in New York proving clients with structured financing arrangements, advisory services, and enhanced capital market solutions backed by export credit agency guarantees. He also worked for Citibank’s Investment Banking team in Istanbul providing advisory services to clients for M&A, Equity Capital Markets (ECM) and Debt Capital Markets (DCM) trades and executing deals. Thereafter, he joined Odeabank and served as Economic Researches and Strategic Planning Director, a member in Executive Committee and in Assets – Liabilities Committee. KIRALİ assumed the role of founding CEO at TMEX in February 2019.

Assoc. Prof. Necla İ. KÜÇÜKÇOLAK

Executive Vice President

Necla İ. KÜÇÜKÇOLAK was born in Adapazarı in 1969. She graduated from the Department of Economics (English) at Istanbul University in 1991. At the same university, she received her MA (1992) and a Ph.D. (1998) degrees in “Money and Banking”. Additionally, she completed the International Securities, Investment, and Banking MSc degree program in the Department of Business Administration at Reading University/UK, with a Jean Monnet Scholarship (2005), and a Mid-Career Master in Public Administration degree program at Harvard University Kennedy School/USA (2010). She obtained the associate professor degree in finance in 2022. She began her professional career at Pamukbank in 1991 as a Dealer in Treasury. She joined Borsa Istanbul, where she worked in various capacities within the Listing, International Market, and Risk Management Departments between 1993 and 2011. She was also a member of the study group on the establishment of the Foreign Securities Market as well as the Futures and Options Market. She joined Takasbank and served as the director in charge of foreign affairs and foreign securities, derivatives, energy, and commodity clearing and settlement operations at Takasbank from 2012 to May 2019. In May 2019, she joined TMEX as a founding member and continues to serve as the Executive Vice President responsible for market operations, market surveillance and corporate affairs. She is married and has two children.

Hüseyin CİĞEROĞLU

Executive Vice President

Hüseyin CİĞEROĞLU was born in Hamburg in 1976. He graduated from Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering in METU in 1998. He completed his Master’s degree program in the same department and university in 2004. He began his professional career as a software engineer at Karel Electronics in 1998. Between 1999 and 2008, he worked as System Analyst, Project Manager and Solution Architect in Meteksan System. Between 2008 and 2013, he served as project manager and group manager in Siemens Enterprise Communications. From 2013 to 2016, he worked as Defense and Public Sector Director in ICterra. Between 2016 and 2019, he served as Senior Sector Advisor in SAP. Since April 2019, he has been working as Executive Vice President in charge of Information Services in TMEX.

Burcu DOĞAN

Director

Burcu DOĞAN was born in 1981 in Ankara. She graduated from Bilkent University, Department of Political Science and Public Administration in 2005. After graduation, she began her career in the Tax and Legal Services Department of PwC (PricewaterhouseCoopers) Turkey Office, where she worked approximately 13 years providing audit and consultancy for local and international corporations within the framework of tax legislation and financial regulations. She obtained her MBA degree from Ankara University in 2009. She is qualified as CPA. As of April 2019, she joined TMEX and during the start-up period of TMEX, she worked as Human Resources and Administrative Affairs Manager, as well as fulfilling responsibilities related to financial affairs and provided infrastructure setup. In April 2020, she was promoted to the position of Financial Affairs Director.

Alkım AYDAŞ

Legal Counsel

Alkım AYDAŞ was born in Bolu in 1979. He graduated from Law School of Çankaya University. He completed his Master’s Degree in Economics and Energy Law at the Department of Public Law at the Institute of Social Sciences of Hacettepe University in 2018. Since 2003, he has been working as a lawyer. In the first 5 years of his working life, he worked as a lawyer for T.C. Ziraat Bank, Raya Turizm Ticaret Limited Company and Çağdaş Boya Joint Stock Company. From 2007 to 2017, he worked as a Legal Advisor to the Pankobirlik and he was the Chief Legal Advisor at the same institution until 2021. Since 2014, he has been working as an expert in the field of Qualified Calculations, Commercial and Debt Law at the Ankara Regional Court of Justice. Since 2017, he has been working as a mediator in the fields of Commercial Law, Banking and Finance Law, and Labor Law. He has been working as a Chief Legal Counsel at TMEX since 2021 November.

Nurel GÖKTÜRK

Manager

Nurel GÖKTÜRK was born in Xanthi, Greece in 1978. After graduating from Ankara University, Faculty of Political Science with a degree in Business Administration (BA) in 2000, she began her career at Riva Securities as a Researcher in 2003 after completing her language education in Canada. GÖKTÜRK joined to Oyak Securities in 2004 where she worked there as Auditor and Senior Auditor respectively for 9 years. After that, she joined Deniz Asset Management in 2013 where she worked there as Risk & Control Lead and Risk & Compliance Manager respectively. Following her post-graduate MBA degree from Bahçeşehir University in 2017, GÖKTÜRK joined Turkish Mercantile Exchange in June 2019 as Internal Audit Manager, responsible for leading the audit function.
