Member Representatives
A member representative is an individual authorized to represent the member in transactions with the Exchange and/or in clearing and settlement operations, receive notifications on behalf of the member, maintain open communication channels between the Exchange and the member, and hold signature authority.
Each member is required to employ at least one member representative while conducting intermediary activities with the Exchange.
Members must prepare notarized representation documents that meet the minimum requirements set by the Exchange and notify the Exchange of the individuals they appointed as member representatives.
Member representatives are required to act in good faith and honesty, comply with the Ministry and Exchange regulations, follow the rules set by the Exchange, maintain order and discipline, provide any requested information and documents to the Exchange or its officials, and offer the necessary assistance and cooperation. They must also adhere to the obligations outlined in the relevant regulations.
The Exchange organizes training programs for representatives of members who are designated as member representatives for Exchange trading terminals and who will carry out order transmission and other authorized tasks and transactions, according to the markets in which they will trade. Representatives who will be defined as users of the Exchange Trading System (ETS) must participate in the ETS Training program organized by the Exchange and pass the exam. Individuals who successfully complete the training programs and meet the conditions set forth in the relevant legislation can trade on the Exchange markets as representatives of members.
