Dissemination of EWR Market and Agricultural Product Indices Data

  1. GENERAL

Indices data are distributed and disseminated in real-time or with a delay via platforms determined by the Exchange and Data Vendor Companies that have signed a data vendor agreement with TMEX.

The start and end times for the dissemination of indices data are based on the start and end times of the continuous auction session on the EWR Market. The conditions and times for the start and end of indices data dissemination are presented in the tables below.

Dissemination Start Condition

·       Index Calculation- Dissemination Start Time defined in the system

·       At least 3 transactions and 20,000 kg condition must be met in the EWR Market Continuous Auction session

Dissemination End Condition

·       Index Calculation- Dissemination End Time defined in the system

·       Calculation and publication of the end-of-day index value

Data distribution organisations that have signed a data distribution agreement with the Exchange receive the following information for each index via the messaging services provided by the Exchange: long and short name, ISIN code, index unit, index type, country, real-time index value, absolute and percentage change per session, and dissemination status. For details, see:

On the trading day, when the index data dissemination begins during the session, TMEX sends the following information based on the index to the data dissemination organisation every ten seconds.

Index Trading Value (TL)

The total trading volume of normal session transactions occurring during the continuous auction session for products included in the index calculation.

Cancellations of transactions in the ISINs included in the index during the continuous auction session are reflected in the index at the next index calculation time. If a transaction cancellation occurs at the end of the EWR Market session, the relevant transaction cancellation is automatically reflected in the index calculation after the end of the session, and these index values are also sent for data dissemination.

For indices where no transactions occurred and/or which met the dissemination criteria but were subsequently cancelled in their entirety, only the ‘previous day closing value’ data are displayed. The trading value and trading volume for such cases are shown as ‘0’ (zero).

  1. EWR MARKET BASIC AND DEPTH DATA DISSEMINATION

Basic and depth data are disseminated for EWRs open for trading in the EWR Market, based on the transaction code.

Basic data for EWR transactions based on the transaction code are calculated according to the following rules:

  • Opening Price: The price of the first trade executed in the continuous auction session for the trading code.
  • Best Bid Price: In pending orders during continuous auction sessions in the transaction code, it contains the highest price offered at that moment by an investor wishing to purchase the relevant EWR.
  • Best Ask Price: This contains the lowest price offered at that moment by an investor wishing to sell the relevant EWR in pending orders during the continuous auction session in the transaction code.
  • Highest Trade Price: The highest transaction price among transactions executed during the continuous auction session in the transaction code.
  • Lowest Trade Price: The price of the lowest transaction occurring during the continuous auction session in the transaction code.
  • Last Trade Price: This contains the price information for the most recent trade executed in the continuous auction session within the trade code. If the trade in question is cancelled, the price of the previous normal trade becomes the last trade price.
  • Last Trading Closing Price: The price of the last trade on the previous day for which the transaction code was traded.
  • Percentage Change in Closing Price Compared to Previous Close: This is the percentage change between the price information for the last trade on the last trading day in the continuous auction session in the transaction code and the price of the last trade in the current session.
  • Closing Price: The price of the most recent transaction executed during the continuous auction session in the transaction code.
  • Weighted Average Price: The weighted average price of transactions executed during the continuous auction session.
  • Total Trading Volume: The sum of the trading volumes realised during the continuous auction session.
  • Total Trading Value: The sum of the trading value realised during the continuous auction session.
  • Number of Contracts: This is the total number of transactions executed during the continuous auction session.

When calculating basic and depth data, cancelled transaction information is not included in the relevant price statistics.

Statistics for Basic Data by Market Base in the ‘Basic Data’ field are calculated according to the following rules:

  • Total Trading Value: The sum of the trading value realised during the continuous auction session.
  • Total Trading Volume: The sum of the trading quantities realised during the continuous auction session.
  • Total Number of Contracts: The sum of the number of trades realised during the continuous auction session.

Cancelled transaction information is not included in price statistics calculated based on market data.

Statistics for ‘Depth Data’ are calculated according to the following rules:

  • Price/Quantity/Number Information for Pending Buy/Sell Orders at the Price Level Determined Based on the EWR Transaction Code: For orders that have been entered during the continuous auction session and have passed to pending order status, this includes the number of pending orders at that specific level, the total number of pending orders, and the sale or purchase price of the pending order. Cancelled order information cannot be included.
  • Transactions and cancellation information for these transactions include price and quantity information for transactions executed during the continuous auction session. Cancelled order information cannot be included.
