Regarding the signed agreement, TMEX General Manager Ali Kırali stated:

“The TMEX-CMKB Cooperation Agreement is an important step toward providing new and efficient solutions in agricultural product trade. Our licensed warehousing and electronic warehouse receipt infrastructure has become a sample model at the international level. This agreement was signed to cooperate in expanding this model. During preliminary meetings with CMKB officials, information was provided about TMEX’s field of activity, as well as the licensed warehousing and electronic warehouse receipt ecosystem.

Through this strategic cooperation, the two exchanges aim to enhance efficiency, transparency, market access and the expansion of this model across the agricultural commodity market in Central and Eastern Europe.”

Within the framework of this cooperation, TMEX and CMKB will take steps to provide new and efficient solutions in agricultural product trading. Both exchanges will share knowledge and expertise in the development of trading platforms and will jointly conduct activities for the establishment and promotion of platforms dedicated to agricultural commodities trading. In addition, the two exchanges will cooperate in developing a unified exchange platform and an electronic warehouse receipt system tailored to the market environment of Central and Eastern Europe.
