2nd Quarter of 2026 highlights on the agricultural commodity trades in Electronic Warehouse Receipts (EWR) Market in Turkish Mercantile Exchange (TMEX) are as follows:

• As of the beginning of 2026, the trading value reached TRY 54.7 billion, with a trading volume of 4 million tons and 41 thousand transactions.
• There are 272 active licensed warehouses providing services in 366 locations, 54 cities, and 165 districts.
• The licensed warehouse capacity has achieved a record of 14.6 million tons.
• In the 2nd quarter of 2026, the trading value, trading volume, and number of transactions were recorded at TRY 24 billion, 1.8 million tons, and 18 thousand, respectively.

In the 2nd Quarter of 2026, information regarding the leading products in terms of daily average traded volume is provided below for the main traded agricultural commodities:

• Corn: 16,159 tons
• Bread Wheat: 9,729 tons
• Durum Wheat: 3,835 tons
• Paddy: 1,008 tons
• Barley: 652 tons
• Cotton: 292 tons

The seasonal trading value and volume for the traded products are provided comparatively with the same period in 2025:

• Corn: Trading value increased by 150% to TRY 12.1 billion; trading volume increased by 117% to 953,358 tons.
• Bread Wheat: Trading value increased by 86% to TRY 7.9 billion; trading volume increased by 58% to 564,256 tons.
• Durum Wheat: Trading value increased by 12% to TRY 2.9 billion; trading volume decreased by 3% to 199,423 tons.
• Paddy: Trading value increased by 153% to TRY 72.6 million; trading volume increased by 113% to 2,016 tons.
• Barley: Trading value increased by 45% to TRY 483.4 million; trading volume increased by 21% to 37,160 tons.
• Cotton: Trading value decreased by 21% to TRY 202.4 million; trading volume decreased by 39% to 2,340 tons.

The changes in Agricultural Commodity Indices for the 2nd Quarter of 2026, based on month-end closing values, are provided as follows:

• Wheat Index: Increased by 1.59% to 6,402.68.
• Bread Wheat Index: Decreased by 1.71% to 6,620.84.
• Durum Wheat Index: Increased by 9.20% to 6,780.15.
• Corn Index: Decreased by 10.80% to 6,711.08.
• Barley Index: Decreased by 15.33% to 6,621.38.
• Grain Index: Decreased by 2.48% to 6,209.18.
