TMEX reports the 4th Quarter of 2025 EWR Market statistics (01.10-31.12.2025)

4th Quarter of 2025 highlights on the agricultural commodity trades in Electronic Warehouse Receipts (EWR) Market in Turkish Mercantile Exchange (TMEX) are as follows:
- In 2025, the trading value reached to TRY 123,6 billion, with a trading volume of 9,9 million tons and 288 thousand transactions.
- There are 260 active licensed warehouses providing services in 355 locations, 53 cities, and 161 districts.
- The licensed warehouse capacity has achieved a record of 14 million tons.
- In the 4th quarter of 2025; the trading value, trading volume, and number of transactions were recorded at TRY 30,9 billion, 2,4 million tons and 52 thousand, respectively.
In the 4th Quarter of 2025, information regarding the leading products in terms of daily average traded volume is provided below for the main traded agricultural commodities:
- Corn: 25.476 tons
- Milling Wheat: 6.909 tons
- Durum Wheat: 2.357 tons
- Barley: 1.863 tons
- Sunflower Seed: 551 tons
- Cotton: 325 tons
The 4th quarter trading value and volume for the traded products are provided comparatively with the same period in 2024:
- Corn trading value increased by 141%, to TRY 18,6 billion; trading volume increased by 88% to 1.655.955 tons.
- Milling Wheat trading value increased by 155% to TRY 6,1 billion; trading volume increased by 101% to 449.081 tons.
- Durum Wheat trading value increased by 8% to TRY 2,0 billion; trading volume decreased by 9% to 150.877 tons.
- Barley trading value increased by 264% to TRY 1,4 billion; trading volume increased by 157% to 121.076 tons.
- Sunflower Seed trading value increased by 39% to TRY 854,4 million; trading volume increased by 5% to 26.977 tons.
The changes in Agricultural Commodity Indices for the 4th Quarter of 2025, based on month-end closing values, are provided as follows:
- Wheat Index value decreased by 3,61% to 6.214,33.
- Milling Wheat Index value decreased by 2,73% to 6.665,00.
- Durum Wheat Index value decreased by 7,13% to 6.013,93.
- Corn Index value decreased by 1,61% to 6.128,48.
- Barley Index value increased by 6,17% to 6.666,66.
- Grain Index value decreased by 2,25% to 6.033,47.
